Missions is an important part of church life. Missionaries are endorsed, commissioned, sent out from a local church and supported for their work in the Lord in answer to His Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 where Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I Am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen".
Some of our Missionaries are supported because of their specific work; others were trained up, called, and sent out from our church. All are our family and we hold them close to us in prayer and financial support. Below is some short bios of our extended family.
Rich & Linda Desmond
Rich & Linda Desmond work in and through Truckers' Christian Chapel Ministries, (known as TCCM), which is a non-denominational evangelical outreach that is instrumental in turning around the lives of truckers with the Gospel Message, and training with Bible Studies in truck stops across the USA. These very mobile drivers aren't in one location very long, thus multiple Chapels need to be placed to serve those who provide us with basic staples in our stores, to high tech defense materials that protect our Nation. Since our humble beginnings in 1987, God has provided TCCM with over 116 Chapel locations, and the dedicated people to minister to our nations truckers. Our ongoing training and communication leads Rich Desmond across thousands of miles each year visiting and setting up new chapel ministries in truck stops. The TCCM Mission dedicates itself to further the cause for Christ. Rich Desmond is the Vice-President of the mission and maintains contacts with truck stop corporations, chapels, Chaplains, and churches traveling and presenting the mission to the Churches he contacts for new ministries.
